3KVA High Frequency Online Tower UPS C3KS – Double Conversion Online UPS with Square Wave Output
Ultra-Light, Single-Phase Power Protection for Server Rooms, Industrial Control and Telecom Sites
The C3KS high frequency online tower UPS is a 3 kVA / 2.7 kW double-conversion online uninterruptible power supply from FEI XIANG DA POWER. Built on DSP digital control and high-frequency PWM inverter technology, it rebuilds the output waveform from a stabilised DC bus, shielding your critical load from mains blackouts, voltage sags, surges, frequency drift and waveform distortion.
Thanks to its transformerless high-frequency architecture, the C3KS delivers a square wave output while staying exceptionally compact and light – just 190 × 323 × 368 mm and a net weight of only 7.7 kg.
Key Features
Typical Applications
The C3KS is ideal for data centres and server rooms, industrial automation and CNC control cabinets, medical diagnostic and laboratory instruments, telecom base stations and edge sites, security and traffic-control systems, and precision testing lines for export electrical products – as well as any site where mains quality is poor or a generator serves as primary or backup power.
Important – Square Wave Output
The C3KS is a transformerless high-frequency unit and therefore delivers a square wave, not a sine wave. It suits resistive loads and switch-mode power supplies (computers, servers, network and telecom equipment, LED drivers, laboratory instruments with electronic power stages). Loads that rely on a sine wave – motors and compressors, transformer-coupled or iron-core power supplies, audio equipment, and medical instruments requiring pure sine input – should be powered by an isolation-transformer model or fitted with an external isolation transformer on the output side.

FAQ
Q1. Can I order the same UPS in a different capacity?
Yes. The platform continues from C1K and C2K up through C6K, C6KS, C10K, C10KS, C15KS and C20KS, and because we build this range as a tower UPS factory, the wiring and commissioning routine stays familiar as capacity increases. Send us the protected load in watts and the runtime you need, and we will confirm which step matches.
Q2. Does it come with batteries?
It is built around an external battery bank rather than internal batteries, which keeps the cabinet light and lets you set the runtime on site instead of accepting a fixed figure. Battery location, cabling and the connector arrangement are usually decided with the installation, so give us your runtime target and we will confirm what to prepare.
Q3. Where can the tower be installed?
Anywhere with reasonable airflow and a stable ambient — an IT rack row, a telecom shelter, an electrical room or a laboratory bench area. It is most often specified as a server room telecom lab UPS, and in those settings the tower stands on the floor or a shelf, drawing air through the front grilles and exhausting at the rear. Keep the fan side clear of cable bundles and leave room to reach the rear connectors.
Q4. What is the difference between a double-conversion UPS and a line-interactive unit?
A line-interactive unit passes the mains through and only calls on its inverter when the supply fails, so the load still sees most sags, surges and frequency drift. A double-conversion unit rebuilds the output from a DC bus continuously, so the load never sits on raw mains and there is no transfer step to notice. That is why this topology is common where the grid is weak or a generator is the main source.
Q5. What maintenance does this unit need?
Very little day to day. Keep the air path clear, watch the front indicators for AC input, battery and fault states, and check the battery bank at planned intervals — bank condition, not the UPS, usually decides how long a site stays up. When the bank is serviced, check terminal tightness and ventilation, and replace batteries as a set.
Q6. How do I confirm this model suits my site before ordering?
Start with the protected load in watts and the runtime you want from the battery bank, then check that the equipment is comfortable on a square wave supply. Send those details with your site voltage and frequency, and we will confirm the capacity, the battery arrangement and any interface cards you need. As a single phase UPS manufacturer we fit communication options at build time, so mention dry contact, MODBUS or EPO before dispatch.
