20KVA High Frequency Online Tower UPS C20KS – Double Conversion Online UPS with Square Wave Output
Reliable, Compact and Generator-Compatible Power Protection for Data Rooms, Industrial Control and Telecom Sites
The C20KS high frequency online tower UPS is a 20 kVA / 18 kW double-conversion online uninterruptible power supply from FEI XIANG DA POWER. Built on DSP digital control and high-frequency PWM inverter technology, it rebuilds the output waveform from a stabilised DC bus, shielding your critical load from mains blackouts, voltage sags, surges, frequency drift and waveform distortion.
Thanks to its transformerless high-frequency architecture, the C20KS delivers a square wave output while staying remarkably compact and light – just 239 × 529 × 581 mm and 26.1 kg, compared with 109 kg for an isolation-transformer model of the same rating.
Key Features
Typical Applications
The C20KS is ideal for data centres and server rooms, industrial automation and CNC control cabinets, medical diagnostic and laboratory instruments, telecom base stations and edge sites, security and traffic-control systems, and precision testing lines for export electrical products – as well as any site where mains quality is poor or a generator serves as primary or backup power.
Important – Square Wave Output
The C20KS is a transformerless high-frequency unit and therefore delivers a square wave, not a sine wave. It suits resistive loads and switch-mode power supplies (computers, servers, network and telecom equipment, LED drivers, laboratory instruments with electronic power stages). Loads that rely on a sine wave – motors and compressors, transformer-coupled or iron-core power supplies, audio equipment, and medical instruments requiring pure sine input – should be powered by an isolation-transformer model (e.g. 3C20KS-DP).

Protection & Operating Features
Double-conversion topology — on this 20kVA high frequency tower UPS the inverter supplies the load at all times, so a mains failure is picked up from the DC bus with no relay switching and no output break.
A wide, generator-friendly input window — the rectifier keeps working through deep voltage dips and the frequency swings a generator produces, so the load stays on the inverter instead of following the raw supply.
Overload ride-through — the inverter carries 105–125% of rated load for 10 minutes, 126–150% for 1 minute and above 150% for 100 ms, absorbing the start-up inrush of switch-mode supplies.
Cold start on battery — with no mains present the unit can start from the DC string and bring the load up, so a site can be energised before the grid returns.
ECO mode and a fixed output frequency — run at higher efficiency on healthy mains, or lock the output to a stable frequency instead of phase-locked tracking.
Input Wiring & Site Preparation
Check the supply you actually have — a three-phase feed already in the room supports the 3-in/1-out arrangement, while a single-phase 220 V feed supports 1-in/1-out with the phases shorted at the input.
Confirm there is no derating either way — both arrangements leave the full rating available, so the choice is about the building rather than about how much load the unit can carry.
Fix the configuration before the build — Feixiangda is a tower UPS manufacturer, and both arrangements come from the same cabinet, so the wiring is agreed from your site drawing instead of by choosing between two models.
Size the upstream protection and cable — settle the rating of the breaker or switch feeding the UPS and the cable size for the run to the terminal block.
Plan who lands the connections — input and output are hardwired, so the cabinet is installed by an electrician rather than plugged into a socket.
Square Wave Output & Load Fit
Switch-mode power supplies — servers, network switches, storage arrays and telecom equipment rectify their own input, which is exactly the load profile this output stage is designed around.
Electronic instruments and test benches — laboratory instruments and the precision test lines used for export electrical products run on electronic power stages fed from a rectified supply.
Industrial control electronics — PLCs, sensor and panel electronics sit behind rectifier stages, so they belong on this cabinet.
A deliberate design, not a compromise — as a square wave output UPS factory we build this output stage around rectifier-fed loads, and we will review your load list before the build is released.
Where It Is Installed
Site by site, this data center telecom industrial control UPS earns its place wherever the critical load is electronic. Data centres and server rooms use it for rack, network and storage loads; industrial plants put it in control cabinets and CNC or automation panels, where a control-voltage dip is enough to restart a line; telecom base stations and edge sites take the tower format because there is no rack to mount into. Medical diagnostic and laboratory instruments run comfortably on the rectified supply, as do security and traffic-control systems and the precision test lines used for export electrical products. In every case what is being protected is a load that cannot tolerate a control-voltage dip, a restart or a lost transaction.
Build, Test & Dispatch
Configuration review — the wiring arrangement, DC string voltage, output frequency and monitoring option confirmed at order are matched to a build sheet before the cabinet reaches the line. As a tower UPS manufacturer we keep that review in-house, so the unit is built to your site rather than to a stock specification.
Cabinet build — sheet metal, the high-frequency inverter stage and the terminal assembly are produced and fitted on our own line; around 95% of core materials are self-produced or sourced directly from qualified suppliers.
100% electrical safety test — every unit, with no sampling, goes through an initial electrical safety check before it is allowed to run on load.
48-hour aging run — the cabinet then runs continuously under load for 48 hours, which is where weak joints, thermal issues and early component failures surface before dispatch.
Final release — readings are checked against the test sheet and the serial number is recorded before the unit is packed and released for shipment.
Technical Support & Model Matching
Sizing power protection correctly matters more than picking the biggest unit. Our engineering team reviews your load profile, phase configuration and site conditions, then helps you match the right double-conversion UPS, voltage stabilizer or isolation transformer from our range. We assist with wiring and installation guidance, commissioning checks and fault troubleshooting, and stay reachable by email, phone or WhatsApp for questions after delivery. Installation notes, service conditions and maintenance guidance accompany each unit so your team can run it confidently.
